Nephrologist – Medford, Grants Pass, and Klamath Falls, OR (Multiple Positions) – Provide treatment of patients for ailments related to kidney functions, such as diagnosing and treating diseases of the human kidney and its functions; examine and treat patients for symptoms of organic or congenital disorders such as acute and/or chronic renal failure, hematuria, kidney stones, cancer of the kidney, and chronic or recurrent urinary tract infections; determine nature and extent of the disorder, referring to diagnostic images, laboratory tests, and urine samples and using medical instruments and equipment; perform renal biopsies, ultrasounds, and CT scans, as needed; and prescribe and monitor medication and/or dialysis as indicated by diagnosis. Requirements: Medical doctor degree or foreign equivalent, Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Nephrology, and valid Oregon medical license or ability to obtain required. Local travel to hospitals and dialysis clinics located in Jackson, Josephine, and Klamath, OR counties as needed. Hours may vary, call and some weekends required.
